Outdoors, Indoors

Wilde Earth Journeys focus on working in and with nature to aid and support wellbeing, with all we work and collaborate with, and, access to nature is sometimes assumed, but may not always be possible, the "Outdoors, Indoors" pilot project aims to bridge the gap between the wonders of the natural world and those who are unable to venture outdoors independently. This ambitious pilot is making nature accessible, through the power of digital resources.

 

At its core, this initiative is driven by a commitment to harnessing nature's therapeutic benefits for holistic wellbeing. Inspired by research demonstrating the positive impact of nature recordings on mental and emotional health, the project seeks to replicate these effects by creating a digital library of immersive films, audio recordings, and a captivating virtual reality environment, the project promises a multisensory journey into the heart of nature, crafting a comprehensive resource that caters to diverse audiences.

 

Central to the pilot is community engagement and feedback. We need your feedback, to ensure our offerings are enjoyable and meet the evolving needs and preferences of the intended audience.

 

The pilot represents a pioneering approach, leveraging digital technologies to capture nature and our two superstar dogs Otis and Chilli, whose walks we are capturing too! These recordings are here to empower and connect to nature those unable to do so independently and can be an enabler for so much more too, when we can access future funding.
